Dubbed “Sirens and Goddesses” by Phil Lesh of the Grateful Dead, honeymoon is an all female fronted collaborative of genre bending Folk-Americana Singer Songwriters including Lauren Shera, Christina Bailey and Sara Bollwinkel. honeymoon’s debut EP After The Flood was released in 2010 and includes four powerful songs that range in a tone and play in a delightful passing of torches between lead singers. With the frontwomen carrying acoustic guitars, banjo’s, violin, and intricate three part harmonies, the ladies fancy themselves the musical love child of Fleetwood Mac and Fleet Foxes.
Accompanied by Matt Bollwinkel on Bass and Mark Quinn on drums, the trio spent the better part of 2010-2012 touring with and supporting artists such as John Fullbright, Jackie Greene, Nicki Bluhm and The Gramblers, Punch Brothers, Akron Family, Ray LaMontagne, David Gray, Carney, Truth & Salvage Co., Joan Osborne and others. The women of honeymoon are currently taking a honeymoon of their own while they complete upcoming solo releases, and plan to get back to writing and recording together in late 2014.
